Children and youth worker

The Lighthouse church is recruiting a children and youth worker to the staff team. The part time post will be 22.5 hours per week and offers an annual salary of £15K.

The job will involve:

• Developing the children’s and youth work within the Lighthouse and encouraging families to be actively involved.

• Creating a fun, stimulating and safe environment where children and young people from the ages of 0 - 18 years old will meet to engage with each other in an atmosphere where they can also invite others from outside the Church

• Overseeing all children and youth groups and activities. 

• Encouraging the building of teams and to support leaders and helpers in the groups

• Overseeing the children and youth teaching curriculum.

• Leading/teaching kid’s groups on a Sunday morning
