FOUNDING LEADERS

Phil & Heather Read

In 1996 the Lighthouse church began in Phil and Heather’s home. As they followed the leading of the Holy Spirit and the numbers grew they began to hire local halls for meetings. In 2008 the church moved into our current building which initially housed the church and also Phil’s business, ChartHouse. In 2017 they lead the church in the purchasing of 5 acres of land nearby for the building of an Apostolic Resource Centre, to facilitate the church going forward. 

In July 2026, after leading the church for 30 years, Phil and Heather stepped down as pastors - making way for a younger generation of leaders.They continue to be part of our church.
