Kids & Youth
Children and youth are important in our church. Consequently, many of our meetings are geared around young people... it can get a bit rowdy!
Traditionally, church meetings have been aimed at the adults, with entertainment laid on for the children while the 'groan'-ups get on with 'real' church. But at the Lighthouse, children's church is as much a part of church as the adult preaching and teaching. We give opportunity for our children to be filled with the Holy Spirit and to play their part in the church body.
During many of our Sunday meetings there are special fun groups for kids - and during the week there are several clubs, see below:
Waves (OPEN Youth Club - Sch years 7 and up)
Elevate (Sch years 7 and up) mid-week club
Breakers (reception to year 4) mid-week club
S'Truth #2 (Sch years 5-8) mid-week club
Kids church (during Sunday meetings, various ages)
Our House (Reception - year 6) Once a month, on Sundays
